Steps for the project
Step one. VOL will select artists from America's Distinguished Artists pages (ADArtists) for FC's research, judgment and posting where appropriate for an OLE artist RNS. The FC will start the edit process starting with an artist from an ADArtists page chosen by VOL. Artist groups from ADArtists pages will be chosen by VOL for RNS research, judgment and posting by FC.
To be acceptable for a RNS, an artist's Resource Library essay (RLE) notation within a ADArtists page will include the word "author" combined with "essay" or "biography" and without the word "not" Acceptable RLE notations for an artist within a ADArtists page are "from Resource Library essay (dedicated solely to this artist)" or "from Resource Library biography dedicated to this artist by a named author" An unacceptable notation is "from Resource Library essay (not solely dedicated to this artist by a named author)." The notation "from Resource Library article (dedicated solely to this artist" is also not acceptable because it includes the word "article."
