Arts Club of Washington Presents Pyramid Atlantic Artists

On Friday, May 7, 1999 the Arts Club of Washington hosted an opening reception for Pyramid Atlantic artists in the Washington area. In the Main Gallery, a collection of prints and paperworks celebrated a host of Washington area artists who have worked in the studios of Pyramid Atlantic over the past 18 years. The show ran through June 8, 1999.

Pyramid Atlantic, a non-profit artist centered community, explores the arts of hand papermaking, printmaking, and artist books. Pyramid's mission is to provide resources to professional and student artists in the form of residencies, community projects, workshops, lectures, master classes, and exhibitions. Pyramid maintains an archive of major artist works featured in museums and private collections worldwide. This collection will feature the work of William Christenberry, Helen Frederick, Alec Simpson, Mindy Weisel, and many others.
