Holiday Saturday for Children

Saturday, December 13, 1997, 11am to 1pm

Children ages 5-12 enjoy three hours of artful entertainment while parents enjoy a day of holiday shopping. The event includes an interactive tour, gallery games, and a creative activity revolving around the exhibition Fair & Free: Images of Childhood. efter the tour, children break for lunch and continue the day making holiday greeting cards. For more information, please call Joanie McMilIin at (212) 369-4880. Reservations are required. Fee: $15 for general public; $13 for Friends of the Academy. Materials are included, Children provide their own sack lunch.

Holiday Story Time with Michael Brown, author of Santa Mouse

Sunday, December 14, 1997, 3:00pm

Children of all ages and their parents are invited to hear Mr. Brown's delightful reading of his award-winning holiday favorite, Santa Mouse. A book-signing opportunity is also offered. Fee: children, FREE; adults, pay-as-you-wish. For more information, call Joanie McMillin at (212) 369-4880.
