San Juan Capistrano Chalk Art
Multi-artist 2025 chalk art installation at San Juan Capistrano's Los Rios Park
As a proof of concept and installation experiment, Alliance For San Juan Art (TASJA) worked with chalk artist Maribeth McFaul to create a 6 x 8' painting near the intersection of Camino Capistrano and Verdugo streets in San Juan Capistrano. TASJA is preparing an application for a multi-artist installation to be placed in San Juan Capistrano's Los Rios Park. The park is strategically located at the city's Amtrak station.. Following are pictures taken June 15. 2024 while the artist was working on the painting and upon completion. TFAO is interested in co-sponsoring the 2025 installation.
