ABOUT THE ORLANDO MUSEUM OF ART
Nestled in beautiful Orlando Loch Haven Park, the Orlando
Museum of Art is a private, non-profit institution, dedicated to enriching
the cultural life of Florida by providing excellence in the visual arts.
Founded in 1924, the OMA has grown from a small arts center into a nationally
accredited and recognized museum because of strong community participation
and support. As one of Central Florida's cultural gems, the OMA boasts permanent
collections of American art, African art and art of the ancient Americas,
and is home to a variety of traveling exhibitions of the highest artistic
merit.
The Orlando Museum of Art is located at 2416 North Mills Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803. The OMA is easily accessible from Interstate 4. From I-4, take the Princeton Street exit #85 east to Mills Avenue. Turn left onto Mills and left again onto Rollins Street. OMA's parking is on the left. Please see the musuem's website for hours and fees.
