National Calendar of Art Exhibitions
with an emphasis on American representational art
at museums and other non-profit organizations
How TFAO updates the National Calendar of Art Exhibitions:
TFAO reviews from time to time current and future exhibition sections of institutional websites. See an alphabetical list of art museums and other non-profit institutions (A-C D-G H-L M-Q R-S T-Z) used in connection with the National Calendar of Art Exhibitions. TFAO periodically studies the exhibitions (see What is included in the calendars) to determine if coverage will lead readers to important insight into American representational art. Then, for each exhibit TFAO wants to tag for later follow up, TFAO lists in the page for the appropriate year and month in the National Calendar of Art Exhibitions the name of the institution, name of the exhibit and its opening and closing dates.
During the regular review cycle, museums that either have limited descriptions of exhibits, or do not list prior exhibits, are identified in the alphabetical list of art museums and calendared for special review at a future date.
