Ralph Johnson: Works on Paper

April 27 - October 21, 2000

Buehler Alumni & Visitors Center, Mrak Hall Drive & Old Davis Road UC Davis 95616

Ralph Johnson (1925-1994) was a professor of Art at UC Davis for over thirty years. He was a painter and sculptor, and also produced many works on paper. This selection of works from the Richard L. Nelson Gallery & The Fine Arts Collection introduces the range of his investigations from abstractions and inventions to images of rural Ireland where he kept a cottage retreat. This exhibition was made possible by funds provided by NELSON ARTfriends.
