TFAO's website was built largely through the efforts of numerous volunteers over many years. To learn more about TFAO's volunteer opportunities please click here. Since TFAO's inception, one individual has continuously served as director, providing overall management and leadership on a volunteer basis. The following paragraphs explain the tasks and estimated time requirements of the director.

America's Distinguished Artists review for dead links and replacements = 6.5 hours

Topics updates including new exhibit research, writing and posting: 7 hours

National Calendar of Art Exhibitions updates = 11 hours

Resource Library correspondence concerning published materials = .5 hours

Miscellaneous updates of postings from external sources for enhancement of content = 6 hours

Public inquiries and general correspondence: 2 hours

Total services monthly time requirement: 34 hours

In addition, there are ancillary annual time requirements on the part of the director. Following are the major components:

Federal and state reporting: 1 hour

Banking, accounting and invoices processing: 1 hour
